JavaScript Job: Junior Software Engineer

As a new Jr. Developer, you will be responsible for customizing, developing, and supporting solutions on our internal platform. You will be responsible for:

• Working with an architect, consultant, or senior developer to understand requirements and solution designs
• Working in a cross-functional team in an agile environment
• Writing clean, maintainable, and scalable code
• Working with QA to ensure testing requirements are met and occasionally backfill in QA testing, and peer review other team member's solutions
• Writing and maintaining technical documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences alike
• Solving problems across different technical domains
• Participating in sprint planning with team members
• Learning and utilizing good coding practices
• Willingness to take on and learn new systems and technologies

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• Required
  • Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent
  • Minimum of 12 months experience in co-ops or full-time
  • Strong knowledge of relational databases (SQL)
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
